While there seams to be international art happenings taking place in some area of the world on a weekly basis, Paris’ Fiac (Foire International d’Art Contemporarian) is always a highlight event on the annual art fair circuit. Housed in the city’s sprawling Grand Palais – the same structure that was home to Chanel’s waterfront spring/summer 2019 runway set just two weeks ago – Fiac offers fairgoers a curated selection of modern art, contemporary art and select design offerings among the most indicative of the international scene. For its 45th edition, Fiac will host an impressive roster of exhibitors from 25 countries, and attract an equally diverse group of attendees searching for the perfect new acquisition(s). Taking a stroll through Fiac is always a stimulating way to spend an otherwise leisurely afternoon in Paris.
