The Lobster Club

The latest go-to dining establishment by New York’s favorite restaurateurs, Major Food Group, is The Lobster Club, a new Japanese-style eatery in midtown Mahattan serving oriental tapas, dim sum and sushi, in a space beautiful enough to eat! The Peter Marino-designed interior showcases exotic wood, a Jackson Pollock-inspired paint splattered floor, pops of pink, green and red, as well as makeshift Richard Prince paintings and Picasso sculptures, appropriated by the leather clad architect himself. Leaving no stone unturned, Marino also designed the server’s uniforms, outfitting the bartenders and waiters in painted-splattered black and white denim, converse sneakers, and leather outerwear.
